omg!!! i love this anime!! ππ when it was first released, i felt like i won't be able to relate but now, since i have been working out for a couple months and COMPLETELY LOVE EVERYTHING in my gym, every single day. i can relate to this SO DAMN MUCH!! ππππ
especially things like....
1) having a workout buddy is so fun and so beneficial.
2) workouts feel so damn good physically after it's done. except the soreness part.
3) the way the chest feels after benching is indeed awesome, and it's gonna look good too in a couple months. ππ
4) and the way legs feel after squats and other leg exercises is awesome too. and focusing on lower body is indeed important.
it's just the first episode and i'm already loving this. looking forward to the rest of the series. ππ

1) still don't have a workout buddy. but i do catch people's attention in my gym i guess.
2) i still feel euphoric after workouts. specifically, the firmness in the muscles after weights. and the overall feeling after cardio. i thoroughly enjoyed my evening workout today. (cardio)
3) chest will always be my favourite muscle i guess. i specifically reserve that for sundays so that i can have a nice, long workout. and i had a nice workout yesterday too.
4) squats is most important during leg days. and i focus on the hamstrings after hearing on what it's benefit is. from this anime.
5) i actually have always loved running & cardio more than anything else. and i actually EXTREMELY OBESE when i started in august 2021 so cardio was a need too. but as of now, i have successfully lost lots of weight, i will continue to lose excess weight & excess fat until there's not even 1lb or 1 kg left. and i'll continue enjoying everything i do. life is better now. π
PS : as of now, i'm trying to put on a lil bit of muscle while also working on losing weight.
Okay I started working out this year. You see I thought of all the workouts that I could do without going to the gym . I did a little experimentπ₯Όπ§ͺ and mixed the ones I found in a way that felt good. But I kept on discovering stuff I couldn't imagine, even here(DBZ, movies, dumbbell etc) honestly I even forgot YouTube existed and I tried to implement them(nothing too crazy by the way). I enjoy jogging ππ /running π¨π¨. Its been a pretty hectic 3 months but I've tried to be consistent. After three days of training I give myself a day of rest (i thought I could do it every day boy was i wrong). But right now I'm planning on going to a gym to see what it's like. Wish me luck π€
PS I'm even considering the weight training πͺ you know like rock lee's or DBZ's turtle shell or weighted clothes what do you think.
honestly, no offense. but i don't know ANYTHING about how your body is and what condition it's in, so i can't say anything on that matter. i'm completely clueless.
what i can suggest is...
1) plan everything out. starting with your everyday activities to long term goals. i mean absolutely everything.
2) Nutrition is ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT. never starve yourself or skip meals. the key to successfully transforming your body is 70% nutrition, 30% exercise. do a calorie deficit or calorie surplus depending on your need.
3) keep your workouts simple. start the workout with bodyweight exercises like pull ups, chin ups, dips, push ups etc... and if possible, leave some core bodyweight exercises like plank & flutter kicks for the end of cardio / workout. you see how the dbz heroes are pretty much always doing that right? you do it too. it makes any "weight exercise" with a normal dumbbell extra hard and extra effective.
4) always prioritize form > weight. perfect your form using the smallest weight. then move on to heavier weights. not only will it prevent injury. it will provide results.
and of course, stay consistent. stay motivated. enjoy yourself. πͺπΌπ₯

And I don't mean this in a offensive way, but if you are suffering from clinical depression, i suggest getting counseling from a professional counselor. And ALWAYS REMEMBER
1) every person can definitely work on being better, but they are already beautiful to begin with. Just as they are.
And 2) Learn to find the fun and joy in everything you do. Physical satisfaction aside, i enjoy going to the gym because I'm literally surrounded by people who are kind, supportive and inspiring and make working out so much fun and easier.

Alright, looks pretty good for the first episode, so far I'm glad I saved watching this until I hit a slow spot in the current series I'm following.....I'll make up my mind entirely after a few more eps.
So, if Akemi is as rich as she is supposed to be, I am assuming Sakura is "spot on" with her assessment, and she joined the public gym for muscle gazing and companionship as much as for actually working out since she could apparently have her own personal gym built to her specifications and hire personal trainers if she was so inclined.
